Calibration and statistics visual overviews

The module STATISTICS is divided into different tabs. This interface gives you the ability to understand the data as a whole. It is in this area that you can generate statistics for a data comparison.

 

Calibration visual overview

To measure role and sets calibration for a range of scenes, please follow the steps below :

  1. Click on the CALIBRATION tab in the STATISTICS module.
  2. Set the desired criteria for your calibration: Project type, episode range, and dates. It is also possible to calibrate extension scenes: TEL, VIDEO, etc. as well as suffix scenes, e.g., 15.1(A).
  3. You can filter statistics based on different character categories.
  4. You can further refine your search by selecting all scenes, shot scenes, planned, or unplanned scenes.
  5. When you choose the "Scene Details" option, a list of scenes for effects, sets, and roles will be displayed.
  6. Initiate the search.
  7. This operation will allow you to generate two pie charts: the distribution of scenes by CHARACTERS and sequences by SETS categories.

Below the doughnut charts you have an overview of the results. The detailed lists shows you the number of scenes per set and per character.

Statistics visual overview

The STATS tab allows you to compare your data over different periods. To generate statistics, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Click on the "Stats" tab within the "Statistics" module.
  2. Select the PROJECT TYPE.
  3. Define the NUMBER OF SELECTIONS, which allows you to generate the number of desired time periods. Then, validate by clicking on the dedicated icon.
  4. Fill in the DATE RANGES for the different periods. By clicking the "+" next to a period, you can display additional criteria.
  5. Next, select one or more of the OPTIONS you wish to display: Volume, Velocity, Cost, and Artistic.
  6. Initiate the search by pressing "SEARCH."
  7. The results will be displayed in the lower part of the interface.

You can view the statistics results in various formats. To do this, follow the steps below:

  1. Check the desired criteria.
  2. Then, click on CHARTS to get an overview in the form of charts
  3. Or click on TABLE FORMAT to view the results in a table format.
